Nevelskiy & Veliar Bring Loony House Radio Show to Radio 107

Starting this January, Loony House Radio Show can also be heard every week on Radio 107 in Krasnodar.

I produce the program together with Veliar, the professional name Igor Maksimenko uses for this side of his electronic work. Igor is also known as M.I.P., my longtime production partner in the bass-music project F.I.69.

Loony House Radio Show was already airing on Garage FM before joining Radio 107. The new broadcast gives the program an additional home on 107.7 FM and brings our selection of electronic music to the station’s regional audience.

From Garage FM to Radio 107

Garage FM is part of the music network developed around DJ and producer Oleg Suhov, one of the established figures of the Russian club scene.

Oleg is the presenter of the long-running “Garage” program, which first appeared on Europa Plus in 1996. He is also one of the creators of Garage Soundsystem and the projects that grew around it, including GSS Records and GarageFM Online.

Oleg introduced me to Garage FM and GSS Recordings and suggested that I develop my own radio program. That opportunity became Loony House Radio Show, created jointly with Veliar.

Moving into the Radio 107 schedule is the next stage for the program. Garage FM connects us with a specialist electronic-music audience, while Radio 107 gives the show a place in Krasnodar’s regular FM broadcasting.

Inside the Show

Each edition is an approximately hour-long continuous mix prepared by Veliar and me. The program focuses on house and contemporary electronic music, combining new releases, tracks from established producers and records that may not otherwise reach conventional regional radio.

The show reflects the broader idea behind Loony House: finding new music, bringing together artists from different parts of the electronic scene and giving that music a consistent platform beyond individual club events.
